Jad Stepp

Jad J. Stepp is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas. He is also licensed in the Supreme Court of the United States, The United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and selected Federal District Courts in Texas. He attended The University of Texas as well as St. Mary’s University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1980. After graduation, he served as  a Law Clerk for several Federal District Judges and thereafter was an adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University Galveston in Admiralty Law as well as Accounting. He has enjoyed a distinguished career as a trial lawyer in  Personal injury cases,  Business Law/Probate litigation, Maritime/Jones Act litigation and Aviation trials. Those cases and resulting litigation have originated in the United States, Europe, South and Central America and Canada, and have been filed in courts in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico Illinois and California.

Mr. Stepp holds an AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale Hubble which is a peer review rating held by only 10% of attorneys who exhibit the highest skill levels and integrity.  He has also achieved a 10 Rating by AVVO and has been Selected as a Lawyer of Distinction.  Mr. Stepp is a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and The Texas Guardianship Association. He also is a member of the Real Estate Probate and Trust Law Section as well as the Litigation Section  of the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Stepp is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals in Personal Injury trials, Business litigation, and Guardianship and Probate litigation. Jad also has a passion for child custody and support cases as well as elderly rights and grandparents’ rights. He focuses on each situation individually as he is keenly aware that each client and his or her needs are unique. He is obviously no stranger to the courtroom, and enjoys vigorously representing  his clients in litigation/trials.

Mr. Stepp is a certified mediator and has mediated hundreds of cases representing Plaintiffs and or Defendants. He clearly can advise you regarding the benefits of mediation and whether mediation is the right solution for your case. There are many factors involved in this decision and he will discuss each of those with you so a meaningful decision can be made regarding whether mediation is the best method to successfully conclude your litigation.

Last but certainly not least, Jad is a Christian and a family man. He loves his native Texas. In his spare time Jad enjoys helping youth and the elderly through church  as well as photography, flying drones, and traveling.
